Accident
 

Hi everyone so over the last 3 months i have had 2 accidents in my Z first one both the front n back bumper was damaged including the undercarriage aswell. Second accident took the whole back all the things holding up the bumper were damaged. Insurance has paid over 27k in damages for it. What do you guys think time to get rid of it? Or continue to mod it

Get rid of it and get another. If you decide to sell later, the carfax will show 2 accidents and possibly drive buyers away.

I agree with mlsully. It would drive them away, and can't really blame them. Sorry for your luck. I'm actually surprised the insurance paid that much to get it fixed. I would think for that amount they would had totaled the car and give you a check to get another car, what year is your Z and what's the BB value?

Oh.. if I were you with your luck I'd stay away from any type of motorcycle. Perhaps a tank would be a good option :bowrofl:

Similar issue on my end.. 2 accidents and 1 ding in the quarter panel, however it wouldn't be worth to sell it if you still owe on it, I plan to hang on to mine till the day it dies to get the most out of it. I also will continue to mod it

There needs to be a study on what exactly it is about the Z-car rear end that makes them so invisible... It's like a right of passage to get rear-ended in a Z.

I bet if the Army put a Z-shaped body kit on an Abrams it would be the stealthiest tank ever made. :/

It may not be OP's fault. 2nd accident definitely sounds like rear end collision. Let's not jump the gun here :ugh2:

get rid of it. some cars are plagued with bad luck. i speak from experiences (i emphasize da 's')

I wasnt planning on selling it but these accidents got me wondering now too im just worried about my insurance skyrocketing i still owe 17k on it which sucks imma lose a lot of money but this maybe a sign for a nismo

First one was def my fault second i spun out bad nd hit sides of the rails just bad luck going 70 only lol

side note: Getting rear ended in a sports car is not terribly mysterious. Z's are not invisible they can just stop 40 feet sooner than everyone else. You need to compensate for the truck behind you that cant... Your fault? not technically, still your problem though.

Bad luck happens OP, it will subside weather you're at fault or not, lot of A**holes on here, just be cautious and make a good financial decision

Anyone can have an accident, that's why they are called "accidents", but after 2 accidents in 3 months, something needs to change.

OP whatever you do, don't just continue doing whatever it is that you are doing.
