Is it save to drive with this codes? P2096 P2098

Did you do exhaust mods?

Those codes are normal with HFC's

Code reader can clear them every now and then OR get a tune to turn fix it

Yes art pipes and exhaust are installed.
The check engine light comes on and off time to time always with the same codes.
What hapend is wheln its on i blow threw $20+ On gas in less than 50miles (1 day) but when check engine light is off 20$ could last 3 days. Is that normal?
Im planing to get a tune but stretching time to install parts from the list first.

What's the price of gas in PR? If you are only getting 50 miles out of $20, then you must only be putting 4 to 5 gallons of gas in, which kind of begs the question, why not fill it up? Seems to me it would be a pain in the butt to get gas every 3 days....:icon23:


The only other explanation for 'poor' gas mileage is you must be :driving: like a hoonigan...... :icon17:

Interesting.. There's no way to know if the parameters are changing without some sort of logging software but I doubt that would change so drastically without a noticeable change in the drivability of the machine.

Best bet is to get a tune, Most of us either live it, buy the code readers and clear it every time you see it OR drop another $700+ to get it right.
