2017 370z Road&Track article

This is a great write up of our beloved Z, in which the magazine hints of the discontinuation of the 370z.

The Nissan 370Z Is a Classic-Car Bargain Masquerading as a Current Production Model

So true. A lot of what I want in a sports car at a good value. I do wish we had the manual.

Well written article.

Wow, great article. I thought I was the only one who got what the 370z was all about. I bought my Nismo (at a discount) for those exact reasons. Everyone is praying for a new modern Z but I don't want it if it goes the way of BMW and Porsche, turbo 4-bangers and sterile electric steering.

Good read, and agreed.

2018 Nissan 370Z, now with even more OLD! :D

Very enjoyable read. Although I literally laughed out loud at the quote below. Like the Z doesn't have engine cooling problems on the track

More like "Sport-On" :driving:

Lol I posted this in another thread about commercials.

The author makes good points but misses the overheating issue. But I'm glad he mentioned swap in different pads and fluids and you'll be having a good time.

I found after 2012 every article was slightly negative in tone.

Minus the Brembo brake comment. 370 never had Brembos. 350 did.
But I'm picky about facts.

Thought they did after 2012 with a modest refresh. Integrated oil cooler euro tuned suspension and brembos

No Brembos that I recall. In any event, good read and I definitely agree for the most part. Despite the fact I do really love rowing my own gears, and would cheerfully choose a manual in a sports car over any auto, no matter how much faster the auto is for sheer driving pleasure. Stuck in awful, hot traffic every day, Im hoping Nissan serves up a sweet DCT in the Z35. Frankly id be shocked if it wasnt a DCT.

At this point, I HOPE there is a new Z35 coming!!!
