You need a slap.

I wouldn't even trade my FR-S for a MX-5 let alone a Fairlady Z.

Oh no! It's a case of 4-cylinder-syndrome with an FR-S. :icon14:

Op, glad you kept the Z!

ZeeBabar, You need to sincerely apologize to your Z and get her a new mod! ;)

Huh? Zs do 0-60 in 4.7 stock.

When I was at the Mazda dealer back in July during my wife's CX3 purchase, they had a fully optioned MX-5 which I was checking out. I had just purchased my '16 Nismo a week before. The MX-5 was definitely nice but the funny thing was that when I told the salesman I had just purchased a 370Z, he basically told me to forget the MX-5. There was no comparison and I had made the right choice. Funny coming from a Mazda dealer salesman.
Anyway, I still like the MX-5 but it is not meant to be a no-compromise, high performance sportscar. It isn't sold as such either. It is a simple, back to basics, great-handling, quick roadster.

$19K for a low mileage sports package 2014 Z, that's the real story here. That car is worth $26K+.

MagmaRed370z 11-22-2016 07:59 AM

Thank God you didn't. Those FRS/BRZs are so sluggish compared to our Zs.
