Hi Guys,
so that the car gets some electricity first, then turn the engine on.

Electricity travels many thousands of miles per second you really don't need to wait for it to get where it needs to be, it's much faster than you pushing any buttons.

Don't make fun of vacuum tubes. The best sounding guitar amps still have tubes. Stereo amps as well. Trouble is they cost a fortune.

True. I don't see how ACC would help anything either

I would fully understand if you guys say it is not a necessary step, but

has no one really heard about putting the acc mode on first before the engine startup?

Where did you hear that? It's the inrush current that causes the most damage (why incandescent light bulbs frequently burn out when you turn them on) and that's going to happen every time you power up. Unlike an ICE or vacuum tubes, solid state electronics do not have to warm up.

Been driving/working on cars and reading about them for over 40 years and never heard that.

I've seen cars where you needed to wait a few seconds before starting but, as mentioned above, this was due to glow plugs warming up, fuel pumps priming, etc, and had nothing to do with the electrical system.

SouthArk370Z nailed it. Glow plugs in diesel engine-powered vehicles need to cycle before startup. The only logical reason I could see a gas engine needing a few seconds in the ACC mode is if the vehicle is equipped with an electric oil primer to prolong engine life. Do those even exist?
