First time I ever drove a Subaru... It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to put it into reverse, LOL.
Hey, in my defence, I've never seen a reverse lockout like that before! |
yah, when i first test drove the 2009 STI my sales guy taught me to pull up that little sleeve to engage reverse.
when i got into a faking pos dodge caravan last week, the rental car place had to teach me how to use its faking key. i had no idea how bad these minivans really were. from a humanitarian standpoint, i pardon all middle aged losers in caravans who races my Z. |
I had the same problem when I first picked up my z.. I couldn't figure out how to reverse because in my civic si before, all I had to do is pull it all the way to the right
|
yep, i didnt know either when i was out shopping for a new G35C many years ago. even da local alignment place came to me asking how to get the car into reverse. lol
|
i know the fr-s and brz manual transmissions come with that piece..like others said it's the reverse lockout..you pull it up and it lets you shift to reverse otherwise you won't be able to
|
My hyundai has the reverse lockout too, it's like the old BMW's reverse grid but pulling up rather than pushing down.
