ok, 65mpg i can understand folks getting a hybrid.

Had a Prius last year, spend less than $1000 on gas in the 24 month period i had it. I've noticed that sluggish cars make me want to drive slower and more efficient also. Used to get 65 MPG going to work in that car :/

Know what you mean, I think especially something that's slow, smooth and quiet (when in full electric mode). If you want a drama free commute, a slow CVT Hybrid is quite good IMO.
