Nismo differences?

Hey all, I recently purchased a 2011 Sport touring and I have been wondering about nismos. Aside from the obvious aesthetic differences, what other differences are there between the non-nismo and nismo cars? Mostly curious as to what is done to the car that provides the extra 20 or so horsepower. Is it just the exhaust/intake/tune?

Thanks!

Exhaust is true-dual, and flows more freely. Tune is just an adjustment to the ECU.

Nismo wheels are .5" wider front and rear, car has SRM and Sport brakes.

New springs/shocks/struts lower the car and are a bit stiffer.

One damper on the front of the frame-rails by the radiator to stiffen the front end, along with the strut tower brace which has extra bracing. Then there's a rear damper attached to the rear sub-frame, which is really the only part that isn't a direct bolt-on, as the non-Nismo cars don't have the attachment points. Everything else is transferable.

Dont forget the biggest difference, 3:96 gears, 18hp more and appearance.

NISMO®-tuned suspension

Hug the road with specially tuned springs, shocks and stabilizer bars that satisfy the most demanding enthusiast. Add extra braces on the front strut tower bar and special vibration chassis dampers on the front body frame rail, the likes of which are normally found in race cars, to make for impressive overall body rigidity and a controlled ride. Top it off with a high down-force body design, rear diffuser and 19” RAYS® forged wheels and you’ve got the one and only Nissan 370Z® NISMO®.[*]

NISMO®-tuned dual exhaust

A free-flow dual exhaust combined with H-pipe configuration reduces back pressure up to 30%. The result: responsive upper-end power for an exhilarating redline rush and an exhaust note that’s pure performance.

Aw, I forgot the sway bars...

And I can agree that switching from FI to a Nismo means I lost low end.
