what's different in the 2014 tachometer?

was hoping someone could answer to me

What's technically different in the 2014 NISMO tachometer?
is it just looks?
or does it have any functions?

are there any other tech gizmos that differ the 2014 from previous NISMO versions?

Looks the same to me.

Fuel gauge is the only thing different, it's black in 2014.

That picture is a Nismo. you never mentioned Nismo in your question,

The Top half of the white bars are thick in one pic verses the lower white bar.

On the other pic, the white bars are almost close to even on both parts of the bar.

.........huh?

Good catch. 2014 the outside "ticks" are thicker.

There should be no mechanical differences, just a different look. It is just a tach after all.
