i like how they rated the z's brake pedal.. 1.1 out of 5 points... and the worst of the group...

Now, the hand brake not locking up the rear wheels properly may be another story. |
Nice article but....uh yeah....I really don't care if my car is the best drifter or not :)
Interestingly, if the brake issues were resolved, the Z may have taken top honors. It lost to the M3 by 10 points. Figure 5 of those came off in the subjective brake categories of Brake Pedal and Handbrake. Once those are fixed, I bet you'd pick up another 5 points at least in the speed and angle ratings. |
Thanks AK370Z,excellent article.

Read this on paper last night. Even the driver that thought the 370Z was the best (Daijiro Yoshihara) commented on the weird ABS system. Drifters would probably be better off yanking the ABS fuse.

M3 drifting? Madness!

Great article. Interesting about the breaks, but this could be totally fixed. Wondering if a video will come up soon to go along with the article.

well besides being affordable... |
I always though a good handling car would be a poor drifter.

Never did like this "sport" called drifting. Nice article (for entertainment), though.

I was not surprised at the outcome, I knew the M3 would win immediately. Tiff Needle testing the M3 when it first came out comes to mind....
