I resemble that! lol To some people, their sports car is not just some sports car. Just my opinion as to why, to each their own, no need to poke fun because of insecurity.

Can't handle a little poke? Carry on with naming 'em Z's.

Carry on with naming your babies.

lies!!!! you know you miss the premium section. you're just in denial!

Naming a car? It came with a name!!!

I would think it is a sure way for owners of other cars to put down owners of Z's (and devalue it) as a car for juveniles and immature adults with time to spend coming up with names for a car and having discussions over it.

My 370z or my Zee or Nissan (if it's the only one you have) should do. Calling it an unrelated name is silly.

My wife calls my Z " mistress" as my mistress since I spend more time with her than wifey..:driving:

NO! Personally I would be embarrassed to refer to my car as any thing but " THE Z "
Don't be offended, ( maybe because I'm old ) but I don't get it.

lol not offended(not me anyway), you didn't enter and put down others who do name their cars, I respect that. To each their own, right?

SurfDog 08-30-2016 09:47 AM

well...
My wife calls it "Thatdamnsecondcaryouspendsomuchtimeandmoneyon "

My 7 year old calls it "Daddy's racecar!"

The kids at my older kids high school call it "Whoa is that your dad's car?"

The rich Porsche guys at the track call it "That frigging fast a$$ ricer" (they are usually naming it while being passed)

I just call it awesome.

As Old guy said The Z, it's not a name, just what it is!

Fuzzzy 08-30-2016 10:09 AM

Seems silly to me.

I once dated a girl who had named her car "Sputter." I think that is the only case I've ever seen where a car being named was appropriate. Or clever.

Rusty 08-30-2016 10:28 AM

The"Z", or "The Nismo".

The truck is the "PW" or "Power Wagon".

The Jeep is "The Jeep".

The bike is "The Bike", or "The VFR".

The motorhome is "The Cruisin' Condo", or "The Motorhome", or The Money Pit". When you buy 6 tires and the bill is over $4,000. You understand why.

mishuko 08-30-2016 10:29 AM

Ok I named her but I always say it's my 'Z'

or if I'm joking 'my summer wife'

the name of Alina is only there in spirit. It's my Z.
