That is not true at all. They happen all the time. External, Internal, whatever. CMC's also go out depending on how dry and how long they were ran when the CSC went out. This would be a none issue today but the CSC is in the tranny bellhousing which requires the transmission to be removed.

^^Ok, valid reasons. They were none issues in the past because repair did not require $$$$$ to perform.
