I miss my touring leather seats that I had in my 350 Roadster. Very comfortable on long road trips.
|
I'm with you guys I miss my 2003 Daytona Blue
|
I really miss the front headlamps, I still think the 07-08 headlamps are the best in the segment in terms of looks/ those 3 amber led's were so bright too.
Also I miss the stock exhaust note, I remember driving through tunnels was always an adventure. |
Everything!!!

I was talking about the interior door handles, those are plastic vs. aluminum in the 350z. |

[QUOTE=Masterbeatty;2995909][QUOTE=zrider;293749]i miss the heated/auto dimming sideview/rearview mirrors alot =[ . the sideview mirrors on my 370z always build condensation ( getting chilly/rainy ) in northern va and takes forever to go away unless i wipe it clean with a rag or something.

I forgot about the heated mirrors. I definitely miss that. |
the interior is 10x better. 350z's interior is absolutely horrible in my opinion.

I think both the 350 and the G35 are better looking cars than their successors. |

and B: He totally said the opposite of what you agreed on. |
i owned an 03 g35 and i drove plenty of 350z and i can say that the 370z dosnt even feel like it was made by the same company . there is nothing in a 350 or g35 i miss in my 370 .. every single part of the 370 is an upgrade if you ask me .. the gear box is the g and z were pathetic for what was supposed to be a sports car . like rowing a boat . i bought the g brand now btw so i know it was that much a pos from day one . in 60k the g had 2 gear boxed a rear diff . both rear wheel bearings and more window regualtors and sun roofs in it than i can count . not to mention my fav . heat stuck on full blask in mid summer .. i wanted to burn that car . i never thought id own a nother nissan actually but the 370z balance power delivery and over all willingness to let you drive it like a jack *** sold me . just crossing my fingers this one dosnt break as often as the g did .
|
I just miss my tire pressure gauge which now the clock.. Really nissan?! We have clocks on our phones, radio , wrist. Hate not knowing how much exact tire pressure I have. Also hate the smaller side view mirrors. 370z are WAY to big.

A: You are certainly entitled to your opinion; and B: I was referring to the exterior of the cars. I prefer the interior and drivetrain of the 370 and G37 over their predecessors, but think the exterior styling is better on the 350 and G35. To me, the G35 is probably the best looking car that Nissan ever produced. |

Btw, are you referring to the G35 coupe or G35 sedan? Or both? |
I like the looks of the G35 over the G37.
Opposite with the Z though. Prefer the styling of the 370 to the 350. On topic, I never owned a 350 but I did get to drive my buddys for a few extended periods of time. I do remember the gauge closest to the driver was programmable which I thought was pretty cool. |
Not to be rude, but nothing.
The lines of the 350 make it look like a convertable with a winter hard top. Like it's a 2 piece car. I really don't like the way the 350 looks. |
I miss the 350z stock exhaust sound compared to my 370z stock exhaust.
I also miss the digital speedometer. In a side note, I love how massive the side mirrors are in the 370 |

The 370Z is gorgeous though. Well, at least mine is. :D Not sure why only ugly greasy doodz like my car though... :ugh: |
If the 370z came with the stock exhaust sound of a 350 + a gauge pod with tire pressures/programmable & maybe keep the side mirrors of the 350 - would be one perfect car.
Maybe even throw in DI to bring back the torque of the 03-04 models. it is nice to dream.. I have to agree on both the predecessors exteriors looking much better. When I see an 06-08 350z on the road I still marvel at the design, it actually still looks modern even when side by side with a 370 |
Sometimes I feel the roofline of the 350 is more pleasing to the eye, where the 370 is more sharp and GTR-esque. Otherwise the only thing I like more about the 350 is an oil temp gauge. They should have just built the clock into the headunit.

I do really like the programmable gague in the 350, tue clock in the 370 should of been just one of the features of the gague, not the only feature. Also, as I mentioned, the 350s interior door opening handles were aluminium, the 370s are plastic... |

Even though it's not that big of a deal I thought it was totally cool and nerdy how they hid the little Z emblems on the A/C vents between the door and the dash on the 350Z.
Other than that, like others have already mentioned, the programmable aux gauge is much more useful than the clock, not to mention you could get tire pressures at all four corners on the 350Z. Oh...and blind spot much? Our 370Z's rear 1/4 windows are pretty much useless with a passenger's head beside you. |
Plot twist 350z drivers around my area are scumbags so I don't want anything they have lol.

The sport car crowd is definitely way different than the sport bike crowds that I came from. More receptive and more helpful in the group setting. I have a lot of friends still after I quit riding over 2 years ago. I can't quite find that spark of interest of meets and greets around here. A lot of looking down at you if you don't have your car force induced or supercharged or have humongous wheels on your Z.

Quote:
That's because in the overall population, riders are rare but with cars everyone has one so you get a broader spectrum of aholes you could never consider friends. |

Yeah. On my e36 BMW they stayed on all the time. |

Around here (Las Vegas) Z drivers are ok I guess. Most times when I see a Z going in the opposite direction I flash my high heams and they usually flash back.
|
The thing that initially 'annoyed' me was that the gas gauge in the 370 is just a series of lights (and not a 'gauge', like the 350). I got used to it pretty quickly, but I still would prefer to have an actual gauge.

350z looks awesome lowered with wide and huge 18 inch wheels, the 370z on 18 inch wheels does not look right, at least for the street ... the difference in price between the two is pretty big

I'm sure someone has already said this but the interior is the big difference for me. When I was looking at buying a 350 what ultimately swayed me to the 370z was the interior. That and the fact that I found a 2011 370z touring with the sport package w/26k miles for 19,400$. I just couldn't turn it down

The smaller outside mirrors.
