Maf cleaning

I want to clean my Maf sensors ,I unscrewed the 2 bolts that hold them in, pulled one out and it just looks like a square metal coated block, is that the actual sensor or is that a cover? I just put it back in not knowing where to spray it. Does anyone have a pic of the sensor so I will know what to do, thanks. This is for a 2010 370 nismo.

If you will look at the side of the MAF, you will see where air can flow through. Spray the cleaner in there. As per barncobob, Youtube has videos that will show you what's going on.

I sprayed into every opening, soaked it, let it dry for an hour or 2
