Montana to Vegas and Back

Greetings. I'm traveling from Montana to Las Vegas over the 4th of July for a friend's daughters wedding. We're planning a top down trip down US 93 from Bozeman to Twin Falls and on to Las Vegas. We have 3 days to get back home. The question is, "What is the best 2 lane route from Las Vegas through Utah to Jackson, WY?" From there we'll go through Teton, Yellowstone, and home. We're looking at Zion, Bryce, and Escalante. But there must be a great leisurely road to get from Escalante to Vernal, UT and on to Afton, WY. Suggestions? Thanks!

Looks like if you head up I-15 you'll have plenty of options for long and short detours for some decent roads. Just depends how much extra time you want to spend :driving:
