I feel like there was a thread someone was pulling in the "best" posts from the forum.

my car sits in a trailer and is used a few times per year, so I've kind of lost a little interest.

I pop in n out often but I'm mostly in other vehicles. I have low tolerance for most topics in the general discussions section. The performance areas ran out of interesting companies making R&D threads obviously.

Nissan has no interest in stimulating the enthusiasts by paying us a visit like Chevy & Ford get. So the other vehicles section has been the most interesting part of this forum.

I'm an old member....I think. I'm 60.............or was that something else I was thinking about............hmmmmm......wait a minute......now I'm confused......I have to go out and find my mind......it's out wondering around again....crap! What was I posting about again?

Amuse370z 06-21-2016 03:59 AM

I never posted much but I used to lurk a lot. I spent the majority of my university classes lurking these forums.

I stopped visiting because the General Board is boring, the media stuff can be found on instagram, and no companies are making any more new parts so the performance threads are dead too.

I get my 370z fix on instagram and I'm even following a couple members, like Terribleone for example.

Most importantly, I joined this forum before I even had the car and I was fantasizing all day about how I wanted it to look like and what parts I wanted to purchase, that fantasy and vision is now something I get to see on a daily basis.

If it makes anyone feel any better ill be here till the car dies.. which shouldn't be long :ugh2: POS. lol

I haven't been on in a while, went on the "new posts" section and almost felt a bit sad at how short and lonely that section looked.

Good times.
I should start a new regret thread on who regrets keeping their Z after so long haha. Who remembers those threads.!

In all seriousness, for all of those OG members, who plans to keep their current Z for some time?

I don't post too much, but have been here/had my Z for 5 years at this point. I plan to keep it for a while.

cooltoy 09-10-2017 06:16 PM

I don't post much either.

Tick64 09-10-2017 06:29 PM

I've had mine 6 years and plan on keeping it much longer. I still absolutely love this car. The "old" Nismo body kit and nice addition of 2-piece slotted rotors keep it a rare sight around my city. I think I can keep it looking like a new car for many years to come. The performance suits me just fine. Don't really need anything faster :driving:

danegrey 09-10-2017 06:31 PM

hmmm, coming up to the 6th anniv of having my Z in Oct. Will have the it a long time. Always liked the Z's from the time I saw them in the 1970 had a 240, kick myself for getting rid of it..

Along these lines the 370Z, now equals the longest car I have owned, along with a 93 Mustang GT.. (Should have found a way to keep that too)

I post when I do something or come across an article, just like the car, how it runs, feels, looks, comments.....

Said it before, kids can't wait to I kick the bucket, so they can argue who gets it....

:happydance::driving:

alcheng 09-11-2017 11:53 AM

can't :postwhore: as much like I used to cos I have to buy new keyboard every 2 weeks....

If you don't want prepubescent morons and dimwitted questions, NEVER go BMW, because that's the bread and butter of the bimmerforums. On the other hand, if you are so concerned with the forum's composure, go 911 so you can chat with self important wankers and entitled degenerates until the end of time. Personally, I find many of the recent posts a welcome comic relief, such as "Do I have a base model or touring?" You can't make that stuff up, lol

There will be idiots in every forum/group. Vwvortex has its fair share, Mercedes has its fair share, NASIOC has its fair share.

The question is who has the most... I elect Vwvortex given it's total volume. Honda forums is a close second.
The worst post I've ever seen came for MBworld though.

On another note, what happened to that guy building that crazy F1/DTM inspired blue race car? Did he die?
