I DD mine. Five years later, and I still love everything about it. I get about 8K miles out of my rear tires on average :driving:
But I also do a lot of highway driving. It's comfortable (to me) and gets really decent gas mileage if you don't have a heavy right foot. Tire mileage is going to be dependent on your habits. Highway miles help tremendously. |
I use mine as a daily driver but I only have less than a twenty mile round trip to work and the road conditions are decent. The distance would never stop me from using the Z as a DD someone place else but road conditions certainly would.

In Georgia, a 370 would work fine as a daily driver. It's NOT the car for you if you have to deal with ice and snow, and it can be tricky in the rain. Tire life...good summer performance tires (such as OEM) will get you maybe 20,000 highway miles, and a new set is typically $1200, but you can get tires for it that will wear better if that's a concern.
It's a two-seat, rear wheel drive sports car. It's a blast to drive, but it is NOT a practical vehicle. |

I figure it meant he lived a Tron life.

Been DD my Z Touring 6 speed for 3 years in Dallas traffic and it has been great DD and allows my S2000 to sit in the garage for weekends!

I would do it in a heart beat
I have had 2 Z's now and love them as a DD. I might pick up another car to keep some miles off the Z but I would not hesitate.

I Daily mine all year long.

I DD'D a G35 sedan for three years, including 300+ mile drives for work almost weekly.
Conti DWS have a 50k warranty (25k if the shop enforces the can't rotate clause) and they performed well. |

I have a 142 mile round trip daily commute. I take the Z almost everyday. Unless its raining then I take the f150.
