What would you examine/investigate.......

.......... on a like-new, 2013 loaded automatic that has 5,000 miles on the odometer and a no-damage CarProof?

Specifically, if you were in my shoes, would you take this vehicle to Nissan for their multi-point pre-purchase inspection, or would you make sure all the electronic gizmos work, check the fluids and tires and take the vehicle for a test drive to see how vehicle pulls and the suspension behaves?

Thanks for any advice.

Take it to a trusted mechanic for inspection.

Only you can be the best judge for the car you want to buy for you man. So yeah I'd do everything you mentioned and then you can get a second opinion.

Thanks, guys. I guess for a purchase this size, it would be best to take it to Nissan for their pre-purchase inspection. They are supposedly the experts on the vehicle's shortcomings and will be searching like hawks for any flaws that they can recommend be fixed ............. at Nissan, of course.

Thanks.

Yes, they will do everything possible for you to have to buy a car from them or for you to have to fix the car with them. It's the stealer ship, NEVER trust them. EVER. That's like saying that your life is in the best interest of the government.

It's funny you bring this up though since a member asked for someone to go to Carmax and take a look at a 2013 Z for them since they live in Texas and the Carmax is in Cali. Right after he posted the members findings you make this post.

It's just a great big coincidence. Cross my heart and hope to die.
