Need Help deciphering exhaust system...

2 Attachment(s)
I am new to the Z world. I purchased my 370 almost 2 weeks ago and I am still finding out all there is to know about it. The dealer was trying to rush me out of the door before they could spill everything there was behind it.

Can somebody please tell me if this is a stock exhaust with the 10' models? I have had a number of people look at it and tell me they don't think it's stock either.

Thanks for the help!

peterc05 03-26-2016 11:27 PM

No that is not stock. The tip is different atleast

Navy370Z 03-26-2016 11:30 PM

Sweet! I don't feel as guilty entering it in car shows now lol. I wish I knew exactly what type of tip it is at least so I at least have a little bit of knowledge about it.

I'm a little confused here. Picture one and two don't match.
The exhaust looks different and one has the dealer logo, the other doesn't.

Take a picture from the bottom. Start with the cats all the way to the back. Someone here will even be able to tell you what brand.

That's monterey blue, navy blue is darker, you'll need to change your username...

Very dedicated JChammond! Goes out and removes his exhaust just to help a fellow forum member. (curse the JChammond, my precious, curse him and his super high MPG)

(I know, I just think I'm funny, carry on)

So the car show you want to enter it in doesn't allow stock?

No, it does. But I'd rather go into it knowing everything there is to know about it rather than be absolutely clueless. :icon14:

My guess is he is/was in the Navy. Nothing to do with colour of the car.

SS_Firehawk 03-27-2016 11:15 PM

Looks like top speed axlwbacks. Made more for a G37, thats why they stick out some.

mishuko 03-28-2016 07:06 AM

def not stillen LOL

axmea? 03-28-2016 11:35 PM

My hunch is it is a Top Speed exhaust.

JC-Nismo 03-29-2016 12:07 AM

Top Speed is my guess as well, they look like mines.

x3 on the axle back. How do these sound?

Navy370Z 03-29-2016 06:45 PM

My assumption too. I am not worthy to be placed in the stillen category lol. I do however like the top speed. It sounds very nice http://https://www.google.com/search...B1hYpbftwqM%3A

SS_Firehawk 03-29-2016 07:28 PM

They look like they fit a lot better on the Nismo

iJDMTOY 04-08-2016 12:42 PM

Not stock haha looks completely different
