technically you cant mod your car already depending on state laws.

PA state law says you cannot change the stock exhaust system at all. we all know how I abided by that one lol

Signed both

That's what they want us to think. There's always something hidden that ****'s everyone, since when have they been fully honest with the people and kept their word?

Maybe but what they say isn't what is written.

"Certified motor vehicles and motor vehicle engines and their emission control devices must remain in their certified configuration even if they are used solely for competition or if they become nonroad vehicles or engines; anyone modifying a certified motor vehicle or motor vehicle engine for any reason is subject to the tampering and defeat device prohibitions of 40 CFR 1068.101(b) and 42 U.S.C. 7522(a)(3"

639 pages with no table of contents or index, it's made so you can't find anything.

So are you being honest by telling the Gov you broke the law by modding your vehicle? It goes both ways. I broke the law by modding mine according to my state and fed laws. We all are hiding something. Just don't jump to conclusions!

Yeah I know emission laws. Which deals with intake and exhaust mostly. But literally by regulating emissions they regulate everything because everything in the car revolves precisely around that. And I get your point too, I know we're not perfect and that we're all corrupt to some degree. I'm not arrogant, but I am passionate and I push it far because usually people will begin to forget or ignore what's going on. Sometimes you have to push a little more or expand something just so people can actually pay attention to an issue that may not be major at the present moment but will become big in due time. Idk that's my feelings haha. Either way, power to the people and freedom gents :3

All performance part are now illegal

Ok so here is the skinny i'm putting this in the engine and drivetrain because it means the end of all performance modifications period. The regulation hiddin by the epa in a regulation about diesel truck emissions basically says that it is now illegal to convert anything that was certified as a road vehicle by the epa into an offroad racecar specifically targetting modifications to the entire engine or exhaust and related emissions systems. What you are not being told is that they plan to punish the manufacturers with up to a $37k dollar fine per part produced for any vehicle that at one point had an epa certification. Who do you think is going to make you a cat back and eat a $37k fine?

Well anyways here is the petition to the president to to tell the epa to to take a flying leap sign it if you want us all to be able to get parts in the future the more signatures it gets the more likely we will be able to actually get something done about it instead of just getting a bs response from his secretary

If this bill passes they're essentially throwing out billions of dollars in tax revenues for some measly fines. I honestly I don't see that happening but I did my part.
