Are touring seats uncomfortable?
The placement of the seat controls appears to be in a spot that would dig into your right leg and drive you nuts. Accurate?
No.
Nope.
Haven't tried the non touring seats but I think my touring seats are quite comfortable
Not at all
They're great. I've driven 1000 mile no stop trips without issue
You shouldn't ask the same question twice in a manner that produces conflicting answers...
Seats comfortable? Sure Dig into your thigh? No |

Im so confused, theres bolstering there? Before I knew that my seats were electric adjusting I didn't even know where the controls were.
My touring seats are comfy to me. I'm 6'2" and skinny, maybe a certain body type will have more problems than some. Maybe you just have to play with all the controls until you find your sweet spot.

There's bolstering and the controls are outside of where your legs would be. Even if your legs sit on top of the sides, the controls are lower down.
super comfortable actually.
Yes they are comfy.
Although I am slim figured. I am sure for others with a different body style it could be quite uncomfortable. My 270lb friend complained the whole 5 minutes drive to an eatery. So size matters. |

although the one thing I always loved... Heated seats :yum: |
I am 6'2" 210ish. I am perfectly comfortable.
I'm 4'5 and 230sheeez.
I'm 6'4 230 lbs and have done 8-10 hour drives, stop every now and then to stretch the legs but other than that it's not bad.
Your body weight does matter in the 370z seats. If you are 250 and above you will complain.
I'm a bulky muscular 5 10 kid ... I weigh about 205 and I fit very comfortable in it
I'm 1'2 and am a bit over 1 metric coconut. Touring seats still comfy
Six ft 1 inch tall.
103kg Have no problems. But saying that I keep fit - I have friends that weigh about the same - mostly around the middle, and they will complain that the seats are not comfy. Long trips we take twice a year 6,000km return trip approx Darwin - Adelaide run (Australia) and stop only to stretch/fuel/overnight - seats never a problem. My wife is about 5 ft high and weighs as much as an ant - she will sleep most of the bloody journey curled up, so the seats are pretty good kit. |
Touring seats are awesome - and my controls are electronic and on the left side of the seat not the right like you indicated?
No complaints here. Love mine.
Z Touring seats are the 2nd best seats this rear end has had the pleasure of sitting in!!! My G35 sedan sport seat were the best ever.
I found the touring seats were not padded enough, dug into my thigh and hip. Also I'm not a little guy. I took the drivers seat out, performed some surgery removing the side bolster wire metal frame and moved the electronic seat control to the front. Still a little digging into leg, but a slight adjustment usually corrects. I may pull it out again and add some more foam...
But its not gonna stop me from driving my Z. All else about the car is awesome. |
Seat controls going into your leg?? How big are you legs or what are you doing with them?!? 6'0" ~185lbs...i'm fine, gotta stretch every now and then though on those long drives.

If not, I suggest it's time to put down those burgers...and I mean back down on the plate, not down the throat. As for the seats, they're great and the controls are so out of the way I often find them tough to get to. 104 |
It Depends on how big your AZZ is;
I'm 6'5"285lb. & they are very comfortable / However,as mentioned earlier by a few other's....after about 200mi. i gotta get out & stretch a bit. Pant's size 38x36...hope this help's & plenty of head/leg room. |

I loved the G35 and will likely miss it even with the 370, but the seats drove me nuts. I'm 5'7, and fluctuate between 166-180 depending on race season. The metal framed bolsters KILLED my thighs on longer drives, and I drive a couple hundred miles multiple times a week. Sounds like you had different results. If you google "G37 seats uncomfortable" you'll see some threads of people cutting out the metal frames for the same reason. |
