New 370z Nismo seat suggestions

Thinking seriously about trading in my 2014 touring sport for a new '16 Nismo. I've test drove a few, they drive NICE and the interior is awesome but I am concerned about the Recaro seats as they are a bit tight for me. Length is fine, the salesman say they take time to break in. Any thoughts on the Recaro's from those who have a 2015 or 16 Nismo? I don't have a problem with the '14 touring sport seats.

I'll trade you for my touring seats.

Can't personally help you but you should be able to find just about anyone on here willing to trade you their touring seats for your Nismo Recaros.

You definitely have to get used to them. For a while it will feel like a blood pressure cuff is around your torso, but after a while you get used to it; well I did. If you don't like them that much, I'd say, if you don't prefer them, sell/trade for a good buck or two (since they come with airbags) and obtain some racing seats or whichever kind of seat fits your fancy. :D Personally, I love them. They grip your body should you track your car or make quick maneuvers.

Thanks cchheett55! Most of the articles that I have read say they are pretty comfortable. Reviewers did not say the same for the 2014 Nismos. They are after all Recaro's and they are indeed designed to hold you in the seat - not for the claustrophobic types, I'm not claustrophobic.

Remember. I got dibs. ;):icon23:

I ended up getting the Nismo, the seats are GREAT. Better than the sport touring.

I'm closer. You're in Canadia :p

I will certainly remember! Thanks!

Canadian dibs are greater.

IIRC only the top half of the seat changed for 2015; the Nismo used the top half of the Sportster CS model Recaro seat. The bottom half of the seat might actually be the same as a regular seat.

They still go for a couple grand so if you really don't like 'em, sell them and you'll have plenty of cash to get whatever seat you want

Shhhhh, We are traaading.

Clearly jarblue and cooltoy have reached a stalemate. I will break the draw and trade with you myself. Besides my seats are only a couple months old! :)

OP seems to like the seats, so the trade is not in the cards.
