Then again, I think Nissan is losing sight of what the NISMO trim is supposed to be as well. A tech package and automatic transmission made the NISMO less of an enthusiast car, as soccer moms are now able to freely get in one and drive away. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of the "standard transmissions 4 lyfe," types. I just believe certain things should not be done.

Thank you. I feel like majority of people forgot that Nismo is short for Nissan Motorsports. It's not supposed to be high-end it's supposed to be more track focused. BUT that being said, people should be able to spring for the option if they really want it for some reason.

Unfortunately the tracked focused car is slower and heavier then the non track focused version. IMO the track version is the Nismo RC not the regular Nismo.

They do if you live in the great white north!

Does the new version still come with the inside door reflectors?

I'm not sure what those are for because mine don't light up (unless their broken lol)...and they're red. Didn't notice it until last might actually.

Notice I said track-oriented, not track-dedicated. ;)

Additional weight can be attributed to a number of different things. I don't know exactly where the extra ~20lbs over Touring-trim went besides the additional bracing, welds, etc, but I'm still not sure this equates the NISMO to being the "top model" for comfort and niceties.

Not exactly an accurate comparison, but imagine a person wanting the "top model" car when they wound up with an STi instead of the normal Impreza. "Man, this thing is stiff and uncomfortable."

I agree with everyone, just wish Nissan made use of the 3 blank buttons in the Nismo edition because it looks kind of tacky every time someone or myself gets in the car and it's just like "huh".

install the JDM fog light switch, 1 saying passenger eject. 1 saying NOS.

that'll shut'em up.
