That's what Chevy small blocks do

wow being made in fukushima.

Wow, you guys really loaded your M4. My build came out to $69,145, granted 6 mt with cloth seats (equivalent to my Z), plus rims, adaptive suspension & metallic paint. Contacted a west coast dealer and he was willing to knock a $1,000 off of that price if I ordered with him.

Local dealer here insisted on msrp only, on special orders but gave me a European Delivery quote of $65,600 on my build. Very tempting indeed and the Mrs would love it.

I'll wait till the Q60 comes out as I believe that would more than suit my needs but it will not be an M4 competitor. One notch below the M4, but I think the price/class/performance equation of the Q60 will be hard to beat.

yea unfortunately the supra/ft will probable just be a pipe dream :(

the point though is the market is starting to pick up again with more options albeit on the higher end of the money scale.

problem with sports cars is they are niche cars. the z closer to a GT car is even more niche.

would be nice to get a true coupe from toyota to add a little more spice to the mix.

or if they would just scrap the rear seats in the RC drop the wheelbase a few inches and drop the SC line of their cars then tada! i think that'd be a winning formula. hell even if they just rebrand it as the 'FT' or 'RT' or whatever the fk.

Don't think they are able to use RT because Chevrolet uses it on theirs. I get where you're coming from. Toyota should do a Nissan, have something like the 350z , like the RC, and develop into a 370z, like the FRS/BRZ ( I know Subaru or Scion are sister companies like Nissan and Infiniti), then look into doing a monster like a GTR.

Stillens article on the engine from the aftermarket perspective. Interesting read.

Why does this new V6 TT remind me of a Hyundai?

FYI, Subaru and Scion are not sister companies. Toyota only owns 16.5% stake in Fuji Heavy industries (Subaru's parent company) other than the BRZ/FRS they don't have much of anything else to do with each other.

Toyota = Scion (in NA) and Lexus.

they're all one in the same.

like infiniti = nissan.

acura = honda

Didn't say they were. I said Toyota has a sister company as well, just forgot whether it was Subaru or Scion. One of the two

Except those companies actually own the other brands, not 16% of one. Toyota does not equal Subaru.

Sorry birdman, read your post a little to quickly. :)
