the other night i tried launching my car from roughly 3k and as i let go of the clutch the car burned out and as it got close to 7k rpm i went to shift but the noticed that the clutch was all the way to floor... i thought great the csc went out and i let go of the gas and as i did that the clutch came back up.

anyone have anything like this happen to them???


all of this was done on a closed course.

don't know chanken.. i don't want to try it again in fear that the csc actually may go out. never heard of it happening to anyone else.

I was at the dragstrip a while back. In my first run I got into 3rd and then the car stopped accelerating. It revved up but didn't go anywhere. I figure my clutch was done. I ended up with something like 20 seconds @ 65mph that run lol. But then the car never had trouble again. The very next run I broke into the 12s.

lol no... i actually haven't driven on 400 once without seeing multiple cops. usually i see gsp or sheriff's on 400.

ok ok. I've done this before. Stop riding the clutch when launching and it won't feel like it's melting.
