In my personal opinion.... This concept is another damn car that Nissan are not going to make... If they are going to release something new into production... they have to start making the damn IDX Nismo... just my 2 cents...

Ok... is a damn crossover is not a Z

sorry for those how are waiting the next Z concept ;)

the overall car does look like a next gen juke with the short overhangs. I see design language in the top half that could influence a new Z though ( grill hood A pillar roofline) as the video talks about the future of the 2 seater sports car

All the links have something in common.... all says that was something like a Crossover... Anyway we are going to know soon

:iagree:

its not the juke replacement, everybody new it was a crossover, a Z crossover
"Klein did however say that the 370Z remains a success and Nissan had “no urgency” for a replacement, although he did say that “standard evolution is not best for this kind of product”. “We won’t see a 390Z or 400Z,” he said, as it “doesn’t make a lot of sense” in the current market."

I kinda like it....

It really looks like an evolution of the Juke. Nissan has made terrible decisions in the past, but I doubt they'll $h1t on the Z's heritage by turning the legend into a crossover.

Z_ealot 09-15-2015 08:40 AM

Lmao, i knew it....all this fear mongering and over reacting for something that isnt even remotely a replacement for the Z

Firebase99 09-15-2015 08:46 AM

By Zeus's beard It IS the Z35 and all of you shall covet it!!!

I owned a Juke for a few months before I traded it in for the 370Z. The styling was subjective, but it was undeniably practical and fun to drive. If Nissan is successful in improving the Juke with this new crossover, I'm on board.

sounds good man... i love the way that the nismo juke look and i dont hear nothing bad about it... my only problem with Nissan is that why they only make the Juke Nismo AWD on CVT transmission only  if the make the STD version awd too i think it would be perfect... anyway... back to the Gripz... looks great in my opinion and in the teaser video they look like they have a VQ engine on it... that is something interesting :stirthepot:

I think the Z is dead until the market recovers. Kind of like the several year gap between the Z32 and Z33.

370zrider 09-15-2015 11:03 AM

It is sooo dead now:

Road & Track article:
The Nissan Gripz Concept will be the CUV That Killed the Z-Car

:shakes head:

They didn't have to kill the Z this way, it's insulting!
They could simply halt production and that's it.
