i ALMOST want to trade up for the new nismo except 3 problems.

1) artificial sound/dampening/engine pumping thru speakers
2) trading with very little equity
3) having to remove then re-install my stillen breathers

meh not worth it. i'll just get a m2 for the next car or something lol

You can easily undo #1
Sell your stilled breathers for $420, buy silicone hoses and K&N air filters and realize how much torque you actually lost down low by having the stickers in the first place.

You'll have $200 to put toward a meaningful MOD.

This thread helped me talk my wife in to letting me buy a Porsche Cayman GT4 (or equivalent) in 2017. So the news ain't all bad. :ugh2:

I'm surprised so many are buying into this. I think all of these quotes are being taken out of context and information is getting mixed up. The IDx was never meant to replace the 370 and the new crossover rumor is probably just the Juke's overdue replacement.(220 hp, AWD......Juke Nismo RS?, that would be redundant)

The 370 isn't going to, nor should it, grow in size just for the sake of tradition. We have reached a point where turbos and technology are taking place of large displacement. If Ford can make a 'Murican muscle car with a turbo 4, I don't see why a Japanese company with plenty of turbo experience can't make a high performance turbo 4 sports car (or smaller turbo 6 like before).

The sports cars aren't going away. Both Toyota and Honda have admitted they are working on new sports cars. This is the time for Nissan to set the bar for the next generation.

Just my $.02 :stirthepot:

yea #1 isn't huge deal just need to find the right fuse to pull. the intakes/exhaust i could easily just take off but it's the labour removing the exhaust i rather not blow money on.

haven't read much greatness about the turbo 4 stang. i know lots of entry level german luxury cars are using the 4 pot turbo'd bangers but i'm just not sold (except the cla amg beast).

as for the sport car segment honda and toyota dropped off the face of the earth while the nissan kept pumping out the z. now it looks like the reverse is true. nissan dropping off the sports segment and toyota and honda are coming back with a vengence
