I have a serious addiction to modding. As im 21 and need to keep the Z on top in my local friend group haha. But i was actually thinking of LTH and CBE from FI. A quiet car kills me. The remainder could go to a new daily thats not so expensive and maybe a payment towards principle? If nissan does that. Ide like to get payments lower monthly if i have that opportunity. Ive had this car for about a month ide say.

You'll have a lot more mod money once the car is paid off. Set aside an emergency fund for WHEN the CSC fails, and pay off as much of the car as possible. You may be able to refi after that if the payment is what's important to you, but I've always found it to be better to concentrate on the AMOUNT owed, not the payment.

If you are going headers and exhaust, I would go with the Z1/Momentum DE headers. They make the most power.

My 2000 Accord has 215k and still runs like a champ. It has saved me a few times...i love him!

exhaust, intake, test pipes, wheels, coilovers

DIGItonium 08-03-2015 10:39 PM

If it's for show and some go, then you should be fine with some minor mods to be different from stock. If you're seriously considering forced induction down the road, you're better off saving your money or paying off your loan. Your '15 NISMO is plenty awesome as it is. Heck I'm itching for the body panels lol.

wheels, tires, coilovers, full exhaust, intake, intake manifold, ecutek tune, LSD and good brakes. done.

I'd do the suspension first. Although if your going to spend the money on another daily, I would just take the TL back to stock. TL > beater Jeep.

Just donate the money to "my pay pal" account. I find an useful way to spend it. LOL

Looks like you already spent it.

Buy yourself a cheap D.D, if you were in an environment with decent weather year around I would just use the Z as a D.D and invest that 14K. Unfortunately the Z's value will not be effected that much either way, as I see used Z's with higher mileage selling for as much as those with low mileage. Now what the difference the owner gets I dunno...

Save the money, put it in the bank, and decide when its NOT burning a hole in your pocket.

Spoke too soon. My '99 Accord sedan is pretty much totaled as of this morning. Both airbags deployed, crash beam caved into the radiator, headlight busted, hood crumpled, etc. It was pouring heavy rain. I was going northbound on the right lane as I approached 2 cars stopped on the left lane (possibly front most car waiting to turn left). A southbound car made a blind attempt to turn left. I slammed the brakes the moment I saw him, but I ended up sliding and t-boned the rear passenger side. He got cited for failure to yield.

So sad... I hate searching for used cars. Heck, I don't even know how much I'll get and whether it'll be enough.
