Yes you can.

I only started researching this morning and the 1st thing i read was that only 3 states allow this, I'm in Texas which was not on the list. Georgia , and 2 other states allow this if your own insurance is the one paying ei.. hit and run.

Yeah...NC is the other..I thought there were only 2 when I did my research... Had the ins co of the girl who caused the accident
Not come through (Allstate) I was prepared to approach my ins co.(state farm) though they were not involved. Had it gone that way they would have subrogated Allstate for the $$

Yeah I am in GA so my insurance company is paying right now... (freaking hit and run) They dont want to fix the exhaust as of yet so I am going to b!tch them out until they give me a check for a new one... They couldnt tell the difference in the exhaust note from when it got hit... i.e. the inner baffles got knocked loose and it has a funky annoying harmonance on accel and deccel... It drives me nuts even with the music up i notice it. But because of the nature of the Z exhaust note they cant tell the difference lol its louder too. its like I told Jeff(owner of the shop) I live with this thing day in and day out how are they going to know what the exhaust is supposed to sound like? its not like they ride in the car everyday...

Didn't look like your "Nudge" came anywhere near the exhaust. The Hamonics you hear are other metal pieces knocked out of line and rattling. Mine did the same. Baffles knocked loose?.....C'mon...:rofl2: Thats Hilarious..you don't really believe that, do you??

I got hit while parked in a parking lot. over 2k in damage (rear bumper, wheel, rear quarter panel, side skirt, and door all damaged) and the insurance company is currently working on a diminished value claim.
