It is hard not to scrape it when the car is lowered. You just have go at an angle and slowly to minimize the scraping.

It is an inexpensive part and fairly durable unless you really hit it hard.

I have a lot of rock chips on mine even on my hood:mad:

If you arent lowered and you go in an angle everytime you probly wont scratch it that much

Mine is in okay condition. I'll notice the passenger side will sometimes pop out of the little clips to hold it in.

Ends are ground down. No problem. Wear & Tear like onzedge said.
Problem is, the end "darts" that attach it to car have pulled loose & won't fit or stay back in. So, the ends are also hanging loose (away from car)

Am on my 2nd bumper, its the stillen one, original is completely ripped on the bottom, from 3rd world country road rac......driving. New bumper is stronger, but in good shape, a little off on color tint but strong.

there are some dips in the roads i'm around that even going at 10kmh you will scrape... the ones near the wheel wells are fine though weird.

mind you i stop taking those roads after hearing the scrape :(

i scrape mine 90% of the time if someone parks next to my driveway. doesn't help that driveway is a slop which leads down a steeper slope on my road. :shakes head:

ever consider going to a shop to get it blended? might be $$ tho

Mine is pretty rough on the bottom due to steep driveways. The only thing that really made me grit my teeth was when I went to eat one night and the parking lot was made weird and when I thought I had plenty of room to back out of the spot I cut it and the front of my nismo bumper scraped this 12" tall curb lol

Stock spoiler that is riveted - let it shred to bits. Its your gauge. Aftermarket - make skidplates.

Haboob 07-22-2015 04:35 PM

Mine looks okay, but the deflectors in front of the wheels may have some scrapes on them, as they're what make that hideous sound pulling out of the driveway (even when I'm trying extreme angles). :(

I shave mine down with a razor blade whenever I think about (usually during oil changes). It's nice and clean, although having shaved it down so much I'm sure has minimized the aero influence. It's probably 25% smaller than it was originally.

Could not have said it better it's a $99 part no biggie. Looks so weird without it.

FYI.
I think that it's a $125 to $167 part (depending on dealer) not including shipping.

The car is already so low from factory. The spoiler scrapes a lot. I just stopped caring about it as its cheap to replace.
