confucius 06-17-2015 05:40 PM

I see at least 10 Stangs & Camaros each, and at least 2-3 Porche everyday on my commute. I maybe see 2 Z in a month. And a newer (LED) 370 - 1 so far this year, 2 all of last year. And I drive 25,k per year...

Z-Girl 12 06-17-2015 09:17 PM

Same. I drive to work 5 sometimes 6 days a week and I've seen multiples of mustangs and camaros but never a 370z. When I test drove my car and I pushed on the gas my heart skipped a beat and my eyes just lit up like a Christmas tree when my back got pushed back into the seat. It's the first time I actually ever felt that way about a car when driving.

Edit: Going back on topic though is that it is the one car I keep looking back on when I park cause its so beautiful.

MicntaeG35 06-17-2015 09:46 PM

^^ I wish I could say that! But because the Z is soo sexy. I've seen 2 other nismos in the 2 years I've owned mine. I see atleast 20 mustangs/ camaros/ Hondas a day!

Magic Bus 06-17-2015 10:03 PM

Cuz just put on new tires!

KN21283 06-17-2015 10:29 PM

MagmaRed370z 06-18-2015 08:53 AM

mishuko 06-18-2015 09:01 AM

I actually saw more 370z yesterday omw home than stangs...

We should keep our car bea use of the csc! Jk...

Because race car

Jordo! 06-18-2015 09:36 AM

Agreed. And, it's bolted to a proper sports car.

But... the engine sounds like a tractor without a lot of careful consideration on the exhaust set-up... the only real drawback.

Push370zzz 06-18-2015 09:47 AM

Because even 6 years after its release it is still the best mix of power/appearance/handling available.

kenchan 06-18-2015 09:51 AM

ive liked the VQ engines for a long time (like since the early 90's?). ive read about nissan thinking about letting some euro company make the future engines and was like wtf... IF i wanted that, id get a german car. leave the nissan engines alone! u dont see me with a german car.

Exhaust 06-18-2015 10:27 AM

Mid 90's, made its debut in the '95 Maxima. Still see tons of those on the road so it must be a hella of an engine:driving:! I agree on European engine...:ugh2:

Yea, but once you go aftermarket...this car absolutely howls. Love it.

b15 06-18-2015 05:43 PM

I love how it looks and how it does everything well. I think the VQ37 is the worst VQ (from an NVH perspective) but it still makes good power for being NA). Plus there's really nothing out there (sub $60k) I like enough to replace the Z.

original L24 was a Mercedes engine under license

0101 06-19-2015 07:10 AM

There's nothing else under $100k that I really like.

ZeeingAround 06-19-2015 10:24 AM

Because I can pass all kinds of POS ecobox cars slowing down traffic on the two-lane highways around here.

Ding! This is top of my list but I'd 'settle' with a Cayman gts.

Domestics seem to be the hot cars at the moment due their price vs hp but none of them really excite me. Only one I'd remotely consider is the C7 but I think it's overstyled. Maybe it's because I see them everywhere but it already looks dated to me

Shawberger 06-19-2015 12:31 PM

Because I like being original. This is my 3rd Z. Don't get me wrong I have a passion for American muscle as well, still have my 72' Charger in the driveway, and my 4x4 is ready for the mountains.

Ghostvette 06-19-2015 12:51 PM

I'm keeping my Z and when Porsche redesigns the Cayman in 2017, I'll get a 2018 Cayman S painted Nissan Monterey Blue. The C7s are pretty cool, but after having to deal with asshat salesmen when I was trying to test drive a used 'Vette, it's no longer worth the headache.

Leingod 06-19-2015 01:02 PM

The GF has moar 'le sexy" time with me since I own a rare sports car
