Drove a basically stock Z last night

So a buddy of mine just picked up a nice 2011 MT sport and came by my house last night to check out my exhaust setup. He let me drive his and it's the first stock 370 I've driven since 2009. All of them have good power but it was a big eye opener on how much more responsive my car is. I see know what the throttle lag is like as the power seems to kind of roll on instead of hoping right in. I figured I would notice a difference but wasn't expecting it to be near as noticible as it was. Anyway, fun to put it in perspective.

Agreed... but, just for the heck of it, go ahead and tell me what mods make the biggest difference in throttle response and what order they should be done in.

Yes it came uprev tuned and I didn't find out till weeks later. Then I bought a cable and got a seymore tune for my altitude. I don't think it was Tuned in great when I bought it but had a throttle map atleast.

Ha ha funny. For me the tune made the differnece. I didn't realize until last night how much better than stock it really is. The nismo/HFC sound is much better than stock too

That makes the most sense. Does anyone know if grounding kits for Autos and K&N filters proved any gains or no?

The filters should and I have no idea on the grounding kit

Tune on a Base?

Wow! This stuff is way over my head. Is a "tune" on a base model going to do anything? PS: Low altitude. 10 ft above sea level.

A tune should benefit any car. Not only do you dial it in, you get several map options and adjusted throttle maps to get rid of throttle lag
