Exxon - Tiger in your tank

Fuzzzy 03-10-2017 07:25 PM

My nearest Shell dealer. Most (all?) of the others around here are 91.

It is pricier than other brands, but I spend far more on beer "upgrades" than gasoline "upgrades."

fire165 03-10-2017 08:32 PM

Shell 93 Vpower.

ChopsZ 03-11-2017 12:24 AM

I use Mobil. It's on my way to work. Usually costs about $43 a fill. My Z sees redline multiple times daily. I average 210-220 miles a tank.

I get the best mileage from mobil. If you are ever down in key west ,fill up at the southern most circle K mobil station. A fellow Z owner keeps that station stocked . Me :) I deliver there at least 2x a week.

I always fill up at the corner station by my house. I'm not sure what brand it is, I only go there because the gal with the lazy eye behind the counter is kinda hot.

:yum:

kenchan 03-11-2017 11:00 AM

I wouldn't trust that girl, sounds like she has a wandering eye. lol.

Fren_Z 03-24-2017 12:57 AM

I o n l y use Shell :driving:

BobbyLight 03-24-2017 08:36 AM

Shell or BP only. only exception is the fontana village gas station.

I have noticed that BP has the visibly clearest gas

jewelz 03-24-2017 08:53 AM

Shell

ZeeingAround 03-26-2017 09:55 AM

Shell too

Nixin 03-26-2017 01:06 PM

Shell Only

TKP-Zeto 03-26-2017 04:46 PM

I use BP around NJ. It's not too expensive, cash and credit are usually the same, and they have a rewards card to earn discounts.

UNKNOWN_370 03-26-2017 05:00 PM

Shell

OCPanther 11-10-2017 01:34 PM

For some reason, Mobil runs really well so I use them. Otherwise, Shell or Chevron.

AestheticCM1 11-10-2017 03:05 PM

Rhetorical question? Our cars take 91. Anyway, I try to stick to Shell.

Rusty 11-10-2017 08:09 PM

My one tune is on Sunoco 93.

sp911 11-13-2017 09:22 AM

Costco.

TexasChuck 11-18-2017 05:24 PM

Octane 91 vs 93

Higher elevations the 91 is used.
SHELL

Airwilf 11-18-2017 05:27 PM

Just to let you know, here is what we have available in Cedar Rapids Iowa.
At the Sinclair station were I buy 90% of my gas:
E10: $2.50 a gallon, Plain 87 regular (no ethanol): $2.80 a gallon, 91 (no ethanol) $3.10 a gallon.
At the local Shell station where all the gas is blended with ethanol:
87: $2.55 a gallon, 89: $3.00 a gallon, 93: $3.50 a gallon.
Needless to say, I don't use Shell gas.

vtec to vvel 11-18-2017 10:02 PM

I almost always use Chevron, and once a while Shell.

You don’t use shell because of price?

Smashley 11-19-2017 02:49 AM

I can't find a Chevron anywhere around here anymore:shakes head:
My Maxima ran great with Chevron in the tank.
Shell only in the Z

The Techron additive def makes a huge difference IMO. Is there a Texaco nearby? They use the same additives as Chevron.

Cyber370 11-19-2017 10:42 AM

In my area, it’s simple. The only top tier gas available is Petro Canada or Shell. I go to Shell for my Z because their Nitro V is the only gas that is Ethanol free.

In my area. We got Sunoco, Sheetz, Qik-Fil, Exxon. All 10% blended.

2011 Nismo#91 11-19-2017 03:45 PM

Sunoco

jchammond 11-19-2017 04:37 PM

I don't use any ethanol blended gas in my Z. The shell gas here is all blended with ethanol.
