Opinion on ground effects package

Curious what Z lovers/experts think about this ground effects package - can't decide whether I like it or not?

Do I personally like it. No.

Is it the only GFX kit that won't devalue the resale value? Yes.

Is it the only GFX kit with OEM quality fit and finish? Yes.

I'm impartial to it. Meh.

It is the ugliest kit on the market for the 370Z IMO. The 2015 Nismo is a very close second.

Hey! I actually like the 2015 Nismo kit! :yum:

That was before I saw the other kits available :rofl2:

The Nismo S-Tune kit only goes well with black & has to sit low to appreciate further. If you go with this, you will need the skirts that go with spoiler and let it sit low. The best kit for me on a roadster is the Amuse.

peleincubus 05-09-2015 02:56 AM

Reminds me of all the kits I used to see in import magazines in the 90's.

And no sorry I don't like it

Stealthrider2 05-09-2015 05:11 AM

Unfortunately no... I still personally think the Seibon SR lip looks better.

I've spent much time in the albums section long before I even owned my car so you could say I've been spoiled by all the kits avaible for it. This particular S-tune design is just too painful to look at. It looks like its melted into a blob. Makes the front end looks heavier than it already is.

I has angles I don't like. I would want something that I like looking at in more angles than not. Forum member Liquid G had this kit pretty early when it came out and even did a photoshoot with it.

I like the side skirts on S-Tune that's about it.

When i saw the title ground effects i thought i was going to click into a thread with under carriage lighting!

PearlWhite55 05-09-2015 04:06 PM

Yep

So...I think I agree with you all - thanks for the feedback. Drove this car yesterday and it was solid - great ride - but, can't get past the fact I don't love the kit - I don't hate it (actually like rear-deck spoiler) but can't get past the front end.

I kinda want Sport/Nav too - so, I think I'll keep looking - this one just landed really close to my house so I thought I'd give it a whirl. Fun ride.

Thanks all!

there's a way to paint that s-tune lip to make it less clunky looking... if dat's the car u want to get.

personally i like my Z bonestock...like my avatar. :ugh:

Z-Girl 12 05-09-2015 07:07 PM

Looks like the Xenon kit for the ho da civics back on the 90s. Looks heavy and cheap. Pass.

Duc_Z09 05-09-2015 10:22 PM

Not a fan of most of the body kits out there... IMO the 1st gen factory NISMO look is still the best thing going.
