looks like a good deal. A manual Z shouldn't be a lot of mechanical trouble with 128,000miles. The vq engine is bullet proof. The chassis is rigid and parts are put together well. It would be ideal to find something under 100,000 miles, but. with ispection and a GOOD test drive. if it all comes out well? You should be golden.

Trust me I've been keeping an eye out for one like my last one for a very long time and they just do not come up very often within a reasonable distance so i plan to beat the crap out of it while im on the test drive to see if anything shakes loose

Do you really want to drive your Z around with the constant thought in your head "my miles are too high, this would be way better if it only had 50K miles" There are so many more possibilities and less precautions you have if it had less miles. Way more peace of mind!!

Or would you rather save a bit more and wait till you have a car that everyone you ask about it say, "buy it buy it buy it!"

It sounds like there's a lot of convincing and compromising that needs to be done to be ok with this car.

My real life lesson was: My first Z I cheaped out and cut corners...every single time i saw a loaded one i was like , f*ck. Long story short, i ended up getting the one i have now, fully loaded Z-R. You just feel different in the car when its EVERYTHING you want it to be.

I get where you're coming from and i do agree, but this will be a secondary car which wont be getting driven with the exception of weekends so it's not to big a deal to me

If you were shopping an AUTOMATIC? I'd have reservations at that mileage. But it's a manual. You're good bruh. That Z should get out to 250,000 miles or more with little issue. Cars are just better made than say 12 years ago.

We'll see, but yeah i never had an issue in the over 30,000 miles i drove my previous one so I'm hoping this one will be the same, aside from that i plan on switching out the CSC with one from Z1 and making sure i bypass the electronic steering lock if i do end up picking it up :)

ohhh! Sorry if that was mentioned early. That kinda changes things a bit!

BTW, looks like you're in Fullerton. You should come out the SoCalZ rallies.
