Details are a little sparse at the moment, but here's the article. Thoughts go out to him and his family... but I wonder if there isn't anything else that the local Z community can do to help.

A word of advice for ANYTHING dealing with Craig's list is to meet in a PUBLIC place! Where there is ALOT of light and OTHER PEOPLE!

That's awful. They couldn't just knock him out and take the car? They had to murder him and bury his f'ing body?

Unfortunately this happened in my neck of the woods. It's really crazy, I didn't know the guy personally but he was a part of STL Z club. There were several posts on FB when he was just listed as missing, trying to spread the word.

Sorry to hear about this, :(. My condolences goes out to his family. Please take all the necessary precautions when using Craigslist.

Craigslist serial killer, not the 1st time i bet. Its sick to kill, if any killer is reading this just get help, this is not ok to do.

19 years old with a bright future ahead of him. It's sad when people like this get whisked away so early in life,and yet some of the biggest scum live out fruitful lives. Just sad. :shakes head:

Sad to see what some people do over a stupid car. Another reason I always meet CL people in Very Public places. Walmart/Mcdonalds etc etc

SO Sad, Prayers to his family, Hope the killer is found soon for everyones safety…..Lived in St. Charles a few years back and visited the mall at least 2-3 times a week, for the NASCAR track and store.

Yeah. Details on "why" he killed him are scarce, but apparently, the buyer was going to test drive the car on his lunch break, killed the seller for an unknown/undisclosed reason, and then went back to work.

I can't help but imagine that the next time I post something on sale on craigslist, it will include some disclaimer to the effect of " I come prepared. I expect this to be a friendly and professional exchange, but if you have ill intentions, this will not go well for you."
