"People suck." It's sad that that's a motto I've come to live by.

Did you have locking lugs on your rims? If not, I'd say it's time to invest in them... (something I should do as well)...

If you did have the locks, then I don't even know where to start.

Yes, had wheel locks. They busted out the window and rifled around inside until they found the lock.

Hang in there.:tiphat:

That type of "less of human beings" won't ever get an education. You can send them to the best schools there could be and they would not take advantage nor they will appreciate what's on their hands. And a job for them...well that is what they are best at.
Scum of society will never learn to respect property that does not belong to them. Since it did not cost anything to them, it must be "free" for everyone else and that is their type of mentality.

Are there no security cameras on the lot? This suck balls dude. I'm sorry to see this happening to anyone, let alone another Z. For what it's worth your insurance should pay you full value for the wheels and cover the damages. Use the money to pick up a nice set of aftermarket wheels. I hope that will at least make you feel better about the whole thing. Makes me sick to my stomach seeing these pictures. I pray the thieves run into the wrong person one day and get their asses turned inside out!:horse:

Unfortunately there are no security cameras.

I'm from pg County so I'm definitely not surprised. That really sux man I'm sorry you had to deal with that. People like that have no respect for the hard work it took to buy your car... Just sux

This sucks. I know your pain, for the same thing has happened to me on my 2006 Maxima a couple years ago. I have since had a viper alarm system installed with the tilt sensor and I have 2 sets of wheel locks on each tire. (More peace of mind I guess) I live in PG county, MD. The two sets of wheel locks will at least deter and slow the process of even trying to steal the tires from potential thieves.

My friend told me I should keep the wheel lock in the car in case a tire blows out, but after reading this, I think I'll just carry the wheel lock with me from on now, not that big of a hassle being it's a weekend car.

BeemaaZ 05-03-2015 09:44 PM

Sorry for loss. I hope who ever did this will get their karma.

Just curious, how did they put the car on the flat bed?

Smashley 05-04-2015 03:46 AM

Where in PG County exactly?

Redhorizons 05-04-2015 04:49 AM

The tow company, which was set up by my insurance USAA, put the spare on the front drivers side and some kind of skid on the front passenger side. In the rear they just sat the two rotors in two donuts laid flat and dragged it up. So I'm nervous about how much more damage that caused.

This was at the Accokeek Park & Ride off of Livingston RD.

Leingod 05-04-2015 07:22 AM

I can only imagine the noises it made being dragged onto the flatbed. That's absolutely horrible. So sorry.

After reading that I will always carry the wheel lock on me.

I'm buying a 02 Sentra off my buddy to park at the park & ride. This shouldn't be a target...I hope.
