Custom Gun Placement for Z

1 Attachment(s)
Hey not sure how many out there like to keep a gun in their car, but I do. I couldn't figure out a great spot for it in the Z, so here what I came up with for mine.

370zHawaii 04-24-2015 05:02 PM

Nice, one of the many things on my Z to do list.

DavidZ370 04-24-2015 05:08 PM

Got a License for that? :wtf2:

WhiteFeather 04-24-2015 05:09 PM

lol not required in personal property like a car but... yes I do

kenchan 04-24-2015 05:13 PM

so that's wat that compartment was for! :icon17:

Zbrah 04-24-2015 05:13 PM

I keep it in my waist band for easy access. Always loaded and ready for the drive by's.

Read T 04-24-2015 05:49 PM

You could always take off the knee-bolster and make a knee-holster for that spot. Have it located right there by your right hand at arms reach.

That said, even though I have CC I never carry nor feel the need to.

Duc_Z09 04-24-2015 05:50 PM

Hmmm, I might not be advertising where I keep my guns for the whole Internet to see. Cars aren't exactly difficult to break into.

AntiVenom 04-24-2015 06:48 PM

I presume it leaves the car when he leaves the car but I could be wrong.

great use of that otherwise worthless cubby. if you carry a gun, that is.

CoralZ 04-24-2015 07:20 PM

Good idea. I like mine IWB for easy access.

I advertise daily....

Rusty 04-24-2015 07:37 PM

Since I have a Nismo with a clubby hole. That's where I keep my S&W 40. :D

bkjunk 04-24-2015 10:09 PM

I generally keep mine on me also. But when not, it stays here in a secured retention holster. http://i613.photobucket.com/albums/t...ps3lkhhoh7.jpg

ummm I suppose if you want to break into every 370Z in Georgia that is an option but... seems a little bit unlikely.

Exactly where I kept mine at. Fits perfect there. Gotta find a new place for the replacement vehicle. Not proving to be an easy task.

JohnnyN 04-26-2015 10:13 AM

Now where is a good spot to put my ar?? Lol

That is a great idea I keep mine next to me. I also have a license for it. I will have to do this too. Good looking out.

Chiefish 04-27-2015 02:59 PM

I think I'll be keeping mine in the same spot as well. Nice fit.

benji 04-27-2015 05:01 PM

i stick my .45 1911 between passenger seat and console. perfect fit and i can grab it without any hesitation. left a few scratches on the plastic though :(

CoralZ 04-27-2015 07:15 PM

Get out of New York State before it's too late. That place is a communist state. I got out 12 years ago and wish I got out 22 years ago.

How you gonna get to it quick, if needed?

AMEN!! Fascist though. Communism is nothing more than an economic system. Fascism is an ideology that limits personal freedom.

Lol its super easy to get to unless you have some sort of problem with your shoulder. Plus I am willing to give up a small amount of accessibility for it to not be visible, and not seem like a crazy person when people get in my car... If I don't ever have to explain why I carry to somebody who doesn't get it... it will be too soon.

TexasChuck 05-04-2015 10:09 AM

Accessiblity

Thanks for the answer.

2nd Amendment. Issued 1791.

Not recognized by California, New York, or Hawaii, amongst other places. :(

Fuzzzy 05-06-2015 05:48 PM

Every time this thread pops up, I wonder if it's going to be a fender mount or a roof mount. It gets me every time :ugh2:

Uxi 05-06-2015 06:40 PM

Fender mounted machineguns with run flats, armor plate, and oil slick dispenser under the faux fog light. :D

And that my friends, is another reason why I'm leaving NJ. BY the way I was in Coral Springs about a month ago (scouting) the areas where I would like to live. NJ does not issue CCP to no one, even people who work and carry large amounts of cash on a daily basis are not issued CCP's. NJ's answer to them is to "hire personal" security.
I think I'm smart enough, I've been living here for less than 2 years and I have plans to move out before the end of this year.
My reasons are: Roads are filled with craters, property taxes too high, I don't see where tax payer money gets invested, my 5 y/o son is "incarcerated" during winter season, no CCP's are issued, I have no real benefits as a retired service member, appraisal on property value are way elevated for tax purposes, schools are not so great, vehicle insurance increased almost twice the amount I used to pay, electric and gas kills my pocket during winter and governor Christy is a fat POS.
I think I named them all...

I stick my gun in between my mistress legs, perfect fit, never scratched her and I can grab her anytime I want to without any hesitations. :bowrofl:

Awesome!

I love these threads
I saw a guy on the 911 forums where the guy had a holster that buckled into the passenger seat buckle. Was pretty unique and at a perfect height for ergonomics.
