Z didn't want to start

So after a long day at work I 1st try to open the doors with the fob and nothing happened, so I proceeded to remove the door key to open the doors and noticed total blackout inside, no lights, nothing...I attempted to jump start and again nothing no juice going from one car to another so I called Nissan road assistance and had it brought to the dealership I bought it from.
has anyone experienced anything like that, in all my years of driving the Z is the only car I have ever had to have it towed, hope is not a sign :driving:
With only 10k miles I think whatever it is will be covered under the mfg warranty but I'm playing in my head a different scenario where I'm told is something along the lines of wear and tear...right :icon18:

Interested in what they find. Electrical gremlins suck.

Do you have a GTR push button?

I'm a happy camper, the dealer called and said that the battery had a bad cell and would not take a charge, therefore I have a new battery and will have wifey pick up the car. I was so ready to argue and even started to see which dealers near by had the steering lock on hand since I thought it could have been another failure to log into the steering lock failure database.
Thanks for reading :driving:

I figured the car was mad at you about those awful winter wheels/tires. :icon17:

:icon08: one cell is 2v... if the other cells were working interior would still light up.

Gotta love it when things do not make sense huh? Maybe they said one cell to them but in turns it was many dead cells or something

Bottom line the car is home and I will keep an eye on the voltage gauge and occasionally check it with a meter, he said once the new battery was installed the car turned over and everything was fine...:driving:
