My buddy's car is now R.I.P.

Well, he was driving on I-405 last Thursday and it was nice out so Washingtonians are driving like crazy. From what he'd told me, an SUV had cut him off then slammed on its brakes. He didn't want to rear end the SUV so he slammed on his brakes as well and swerve and he ended up on the ditch. I've got to admit, the Z cars are built tough.

Stay safe my fellow Z drivers. BTW, he is not a member on this forum. His neck is bothering him the worst.:shakes head:

Ouch.

As long as your friend is fine.

Glad to hear he is okay. So when is the part out? Too soon? LOL

I see this all the time, people try to avoid hitting another idiot and end up destroying there own vehicle and getting hurt in the process and the one who initially caused the accident comes out unscathed and most of them never even stop or take blame for causing the accident. Glad your buddy is ok though.

The problem is that if he rear-ended that other car, it would most likely be considered his fault by insurance since the other guy will probably lie about it. Then he'd be on the hook for their damages also.

Are the headlights ok? I need to replace my left one.

PM me

Glad to hear your buddy's Okay.

It is good your buddy is ok. Wondering why the SUV cut and slammed in front of him. Did you ask is he was playing with the driver of the SUV? let us know if they totaled or not. Just curious about it.

I agree -- lol on the parts inquiry.

JC-Nismo 04-12-2015 04:03 PM

Doesn't look totaled at all, that Z held up pretty dam good, but I guess the grass, mud and dirt assisted in that as well oppose to solid asphalt. Not even a cracked windshield or shattered window, looks like just the bumper, mirror and a drivers side fender possibly.

Glad your buddy is fine. The Z rolled over and that roof is intact. I feel much safer now.
