Window tint head and tail light cover?

Hey, has anyone heard of using window tint to do custom head and tail light covers to darken them? What would be the con's of this?

i went to a tint shop to get my tails done and the tint used is like 5 times thicker than a window tint....... so, more durable.

also, tints can be peeled off if ever needed.... if installed right, there are no cons

VHT Nite Shades and clear coat works perfect. Used it on my truck

used VHT on my last car. havent tried removing it but im guessing if you had to it would take alot of work
