:icon18: naw just poking fun at the ghetto approach on the adapter. :D

they sell urethane pucks with slots for like 12 on ebay if you're interested.

Super Werty 03-23-2015 11:36 PM

So back to that picture.. those blue spots are safe jacking points?

Mike 03-28-2015 05:29 PM

I had the end of the scissor jack where you hand crank it cut off and a lugnut welded in its place and use my electric impact to raise and lower the car, and it doubles as a jackstand. Just bought 3 more jacks from Z1 and had them do the same to them, so I now have a set of 4 and can easily jack the car, even while its on my trailer.

those scissors jacks are pretty unstable..

Mike 03-29-2015 08:16 PM

stable enough for anything I'm gonna do at the track, which is just brake pads and tires

That is brilliant! Can you please post a picture how the jacks look like welded?

sure, they are sending my other ones, should be here tomorrow or the next day. My original is in my trailer at the storage lot.

Yeah, If I was going under I would use jackstands in addition to these.

 they should make all scissors jacks like that. that hook attachment to the junk wrench they give you to turn the thing is annoying.

I set jack stands as backup even with most ramps :twocents:
