Anyone have a 2014 370 Nismo?

I have a 2013 pearl white Nismo and am considering changing to the two-tone paint scheme but need some detailed pictures of the paint lines on the front and rear bumper covers and rocker panels. Also, does anyone know the paint code for the gray accent color to go along with the pearl white?

Many Thanks

Did you check the Nismo section?

I went to my Nissan dealership specifically to look at that once... turns out my 370 was the only one there. Then the one sales guy thought it was a GT-R.:roflpuke2:

cooltoy 03-20-2015 03:39 PM

You wouldn't, neither would I.

Use this site. Drill down to Nissan and select the year color you want. Then on the pics there are door jam stickers and you can see the code there. KAD is for Gun Metallic on the 2014 Nismo.

I 100% with you. Not because I have a 2013, that was actually why I sought out a new 2013 when 2014's were out. Perhaps it's an age thing. As a kid when I saw say a late 80's trans am the lower grade cars came with silver Gfx. The higher end cars one of the telltale signs was body matched trim. Camaro was same way. Now I associate multi color body kit with low end trim.

kenchan 03-20-2015 04:33 PM

..then you got the 2015's with red e-tape usage all over the car :ugh:

KMO-II 03-20-2015 04:48 PM

With the tape and mix matched body kit, I still think mine is the cleanest, most eye popping stock NISMO i've seen so far.. Course we all think that of our Z's. Only seen one other one (2014 Model) in ABQ so far, and I like that.

I had my Eagle Talon repainted all black to get rid of the silver on the bottom. Looked much better.

Your exact color combo is why I'm not leaving my 09 MB NISMO stock. It looks better than mine and I can't abide that.

I just need to come up with a scheme to outdo it... I'm thinking exposed brushed aluminum on the hood, or maybe custom vents, or even some one-off diffusers. Not sure yet, gotta go play with cardboard and tape for a while. :excited:

I will see you on element, and raise you a Pontiac Aztec. Another charcoal gray lower win. Lol

cooltoy 03-20-2015 08:46 PM

Aztec, what a cow.

I had a 90 miata years ago that had black rockers. It looked about 14 years newer when I reprinted car 1 solid color. Again I just attributed it to being in my 30's and around cars when 2 tone was base model.

cooltoy 03-20-2015 11:12 PM

Mine was not base. It was the Tsi. Just looked stupid two tone.

If I happened to buy a 2014 Nismo, I'd paint it all one colour ASAP.

Duc_Z09 03-20-2015 11:24 PM

I'm not sure why the 2-tone NISMO gets so much hate. It's a far cry from the Geo Metro with the unpainted bumper that you guys drove 20 years ago when you were too broke to afford anything else.:shakes head:

cooltoy 03-20-2015 11:29 PM

Eagle Tsi = Geo metro?

We all know a base Talon is an economy car masquerading as a sports coupe, just like an Eclipse isn't a real sports car either... we'll give you a pass for having the TSI though.;)

My point is too many people still equate 2-tone with the unpainted plastic bumpers on Neons, Metros, etc. from the 90's. Times have changed.

TriNismo 03-21-2015 12:56 AM

Yeah the two tone Nismo GT-Rs are SO cheap looking too, who'd want to drive one of those eh?

No metro, and no sn-95 mustangs either.

KMO-II 03-23-2015 07:56 AM

Two Tone trim NISMO

The body trim is actually painted, with metallic flakes throughout. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me. Now I like the fact hardly anyone has one, and it definitely distinguishes itself from any other year/model with the exception of the 2015. I like being a lil different from the rest.

tzwilliam 03-26-2015 09:11 AM

I decided not to do it
