09-14 370z

Can somebody educate me on the differences Nissan made with the 370z through the years of 2009-2014. Im looking to buy a Touring/Sports model and just want to make sure I buy the better year when it comes to Features, HP, Reliability, etc. I know realistically the newer the year the better I just want to know what makes them better?

Dont get 09 model has a steering lock problems. Recalled

12 and up would have a sort of an oil cooler which is good.
Removed the steering lock issue.

Features are going to be pretty much the same, HP will be identical, like Zoren said 2010 and newer won't have steering lock issues.

Cost efficiency. Depends on how much you're willing to spend to get the incremental improvements that have occurred over the last 6 model years. My 2014 is a better car than my 2011 was. Better clutch function, transmission works better, better handling, cooler, better Nav...a bunch of little tweaks that I appreciate. Whether those things are worth the cost to you in terms of buying a 2011 vs a 2014, I don't know. It was for me, but my lease was up and I had to get a new car.

If I was going to buy a used Z, I'd be looking for 2013's or 2014's, no question.
