Just stopped by the dealer and have my new '15 6 spd Pearl White Nismo Tech coming in! Oh man, I don't know how I'm going to sleep for the next 2.5 weeks! I have missed the Z ever since the day I sold my 2009 GTM TT. Looking forward to voiding this warranty asap! HA!

Anything I should know at all before she arrives? It's been a while, are there still Oil Cooler issues? I've seen people not liking the new clutch, but that won't be in there long so I'm not overly concerned.

No, oil cooling is not an issue anymore unless you're on an actual track and beating the bloody hell out of the thing. Oil coolers became stock in the 2012 model year. You can upgrade it if you want, but it's probably not the most sensible place to start.

The limited edition number plate on Nismo models is gone, so that's something new :mad:.

The tech package now includes a backup camera. Resolution and general clarity blow (you'll know if something's behind you, but will probably have to guess what it is) especially if you're used to something like Infiniti offers, but it's better than nothing :ugh2:

Maintenance frequency has changed since 2009; now they suggest an oil change every 5,000 miles instead of 3,750. It's not like the engine or anything else actually changed, I just thought that was an interesting policy change :p

^Do they still recommend the 5w/30 oil grade?

This was great info! Everything I was looking for thanks! Nice to hear about the oil cooler! Was already budgeting that in the build but get to save a few hundo now! I keep hearing about how they are going to change the Z next year but finally just said screw it. This car can't get anymore beautiful in my eyes than this years model. Plus all the new cars are heading in the direction of paddle shifters and futuristic look. Auto may be faster but wheres the fun in that? There's always someone that's going to be faster out there so I might as well have fun getting beat ;) "oh...uh I missed third" :rofl2:

I love them man! Especially how rare they are to see on the road, and with everyone bitchen about how overpriced they are, they should stay that way :D

Yes!! I get to talk about it more! So the sales manager is a good friend of mine and he had been looking for a while (like a week) and we were trying to get one in Cali as a dealer swap but the dealer was being super douchey. Sounds like they had it on their show floor and didn't want to give it up. So I had plans this weekend to go in and order one, Takes 8-10 weeks so I told him exactly what I wanted so we could start the order process. Pearl white, the tech package, and illuminated kick plates are a must bc as much as I like to go fast, like to look pretty doing it! Ha! So he calls me yesterday saying they just got the confirmation of that exact one already on its way to them! Gnna be here 3/3 at the latest! How freaking sweet is that?! So I get to watch it get unloaded off the truck and take her home the day it comes in. STOKED! Feel like a damn kid again :)

Awesome. I think I might go that route as well. It is surprising that many of the new Nismos that I have seen at the dealers are already scratched, dented, or flawed on the front cat fish looking things.

SHE's here and in the garage!!! YAAA Baby!! Already received a compliment from a Mustang on my way home. HAH! Loving life and on cloud 9! Maybe more pics tomorrow, didn't get her home until about 9 tonight.

Oh man, I absolutely love it! Completely different driving experience. My little girl (2.5 years old) go Cactus searching about as much as we possibly can. Hints the mud! The Z is getting it's own garage soon, gotta clean out the 3rd car garage. The wife was very sweet to park her Jeep Grand Cherokee outside, but Ima get evicted soon I have a feelin LOL!:wtf2:

Congratulations! I can remember that feeling when my girl vanity came in after i ordered her, was well worth the 5 month wait (only took that long because of the tsunami, at that time I was just hoping the people of Japan would be able to survive and get back to normal life) she's still flawless to this day.:tiphat: I just hope this weekend is dry so i can take my dream car out for a nice and rewarding drive. :happydance:

I will mention I have an Badass wife ;) HA! Lovin life man! When you have kids try to put yourself in a position you don't have to get rid of the Z! I kid you not, I had dreams often of driving in my old TT Z. Missed it and regretted selling up until 2 days ago when I got to drive this beauty home. I will say kids are amazing though. My little girl is the coolest damn thing out there. She loves "Daddy's Race Car" and we try to go on drives together around the neighborhood and talk after a long day. ;)

Isn't it though?? Just the subtle items they did with the z truly made it into one of the most beautiful production cars I've seen. I'm having a hard time on doing ANYTHING to the exterior. I want to... But then I dont. Ha, it's like they literally dove into my dreams and created this car.

Maaan there is nothing quite like coming home after a long day at work, and seeing that SWEET ride waiting for you in the 3rd car garage :)
