Just saw this on yahoo, noticed a white 370z gets hit before the carjacker escapes @1:30

Police shoot, hurt gunman after he rams cars, carjacks woman

lol I seen that yesterday on the news it was a base white 370Z.

Is it bad i was kinda hoping he would had taken it to try and escape :tup:

If news has taught us anything, it is do not buy a base 370z. It will be involved in an accident at some point even if it is standing still. Seriously though... I don't know how you can tell that's a base model from the air?

I guess people aren't watching these things unfold and just get surprised by these guys. If that ever happens to me, there is an excellent chance that someone is about to get run over.

It's good to know the Z isn't on the top of the list of what people want to car jack.

Let's be serious, would you car jack the car you just ran into a few seconds before? The owner is probably jacked up on adrenaline, and you never know if it's going to work or limp away at 5 mph :p

Would be even funnier if he got into a car that had a manual transmission and he didn't know how to drive it ! :driving:

Looks like the Z has Miata doors there. It took the hit pretty well not as much damage as I was expecting from the looks of it. lol
