Why does it matter? Do you need a magazine article to justify why you drive what you drive?

Drive what you like.

This, but in all performance objective tests, aceleration, handling, lap times, etc, the mustang gt is better. Subjective like driving "feel" , looks etc thats pwrsonal preference. Btw, any 2011+ gt btw. Esp if it has tje track or performance package.

I didn't say it matters. Just curious.

Sorry if you felt uncomfortable.

Mustang GT i understood is a 5.0 V8,while our Z is just a 3.7 V6,you do the maths.

Also, every Tom, ****, & Harry owns one too. I like them too but when you see one on every corner it kinda takes something away from it.
I will give Ford credit though and I do like the new body style. They remind me of a bit of Z styling to some extent.

Tadpole 01-27-2015 05:54 AM

Wow, you can't even say D I CKon this forum? Sad day indeed. Back to my coloring books.

BS. i hate the 2015 front. reminds me of the 2002 era when they looked like crap.

the 2014 is miles ahead of it in looks IMHO... ford went backwards.

danegrey 01-27-2015 08:14 AM

drive and play with what you like
I looked at GT, was driving a 93 GT at the time, but felt the car got too big
settled for the Z, just preferred the feel of the interior, smaller vs larger

jnslance 01-27-2015 08:38 AM

Ironically I just raced one of these last night.

I saw the 2015 gt the other day on the road. He kept looking at my car, think he wants to trade up :roflpuke2:

The exterior is ugly of the 2015 in my opinion. 2014 looked so much better minus the interior (2015 interior is so nice). However people would be dumb to underestimate the torque of that 5.0 coyote engine.. When it gets going, it accelerates like a mofo.

Duc_Z09 01-27-2015 10:48 AM

The Mustang is faster and lots easier to mod, the 370 is slightly better looking and a bit easier to corner. I like them both.

styling change takes a while to absorb and I was like you at first on body style. The mustang had a hard chisel look to it but now more rounded and softer lines on the new model. I was the same way when I had my 350z looking at the 370's. I grew to love the Z lines and now own one. To each his own though.
