Used Nismo - Good deal?

Hey guys,
So time has come finally for me to pick one up. (Next month to be exact)
I was looking at new 2014's however I came upon this one and it caught my eye. I cannot for the life of me find a 2014 with no bose system and I really dont care for it because I would love to have the freedom to do my own thing.

Anyhow,
here is a link. What do you experienced people think of it? Worth getting?
I see its got an intake system and some airflow setup on the front, is that something that I should be worried about or not? I personally was planning on installing a cold air intake system myself, so I am not sure how to look at this.

wow it also has a carbon signal steering wheel. thats 800 right there. replica nismo RC brake ducts and some mishimoto post-MAF ducts. id say thats too expensive considering i got my bone stock new for 2k more, but i dont know what the used market is

redstarcg 11-12-2014 06:54 PM

Ahh eff that then. I rather add 10gs and get brand new knowing what happens to the car.

Malm 11-12-2014 07:03 PM

Brand new 2013's are going for 32-33 here. Saw one with 655 miles (black) nismo for 32k. A silver one with 25 miles for 33k.

redstarcg 11-12-2014 07:39 PM

Damn, now I want to find me a almost new 13 haha.

cv129 11-12-2014 08:50 PM

Call the dealer, get the build # and see if you can locate the previous owner here. With respect, I would choose brand new too, as long as it's really "brand new". One with a few hundred test miles? I wouldn't want it. I rather take a properly maintained 10k miles car than one that got redlined by salesman and techs without without any warmup.

jopa201 11-12-2014 08:50 PM

Since ur on cars.com just look under new there are 2 new 13s for 33k why buy used for 33k. He'll I just test drove the new 15 and they were gonna sell it to me for 41

Those brake ducts are the real deal. That's over $1,200 for both side, not counting the Stillen kit.

This one is practically in my backyard, and a better deal. Fly down and drive it back.

Went to the link and it said the listing has been removed! Must have sold it, I guess.

I picked up a 2010 for $24,500 right here on the forum. White with clean title, clean carfax , and only 13,500 miles! I would rather buy on the forum so I know the history of the car a little better.

FYI... I saw the Nismo in question. It was tracked a good bit. The brake ducts don't hook up to anything and there was evidence of an oil cooler that was removed... It drove ok... I have a deal I am working on with the used car manager and may be picking it up tomorrow depending if they meet my asking price for it...

Surprised me on the brake ducts. Thought after spending money on them. You would think the owner would have them working. :icon14:

Yeah when I walked in the price went from 32k up to 35 and then they tried to act like they were doing me a favor going down to 32k lol... I told them about a magma red at mall of ga going for 31k and with only 8k miles on it... Changed their tune

Zteven 11-17-2014 01:37 AM

It's not a bad price but you can get it down for sure, they go for a lot more around here... The mods are nothing major so not much to worry about there but with any sports car or motorcycle you can bet it was abused but it's a nissan not a bmw so any damage won't kill you, just do your research on the car and take a good hard look

redstarcg 11-17-2014 11:05 AM

Bullitt do you have a link to this red one? I am a huge fan of red. Rather have gun metal but for that price red will work.

redstarcg 11-17-2014 12:29 PM

Did you get a chance to check it out or is red not your thing? Looks pretty clean from the pics?

bullitt5897 11-17-2014 08:57 PM

I haven't checked it out yet but maybe sometime this week.

Do not do business with carriage nissan!!! I was ready to trade my car in for the Nismo tonight until they absolutely insulted me and treated me like some punk kid... They offered me a salvage price for a 2014 focus st (st3) that is in immaculate condition! Over $7k less than fair condition trade value... After letting them know that I was a serious buyer and if they are not going to be serious then to give me my keys back... They didn't even budge... Handed me my keys and had hid my car way in the corner of the lot... Shitty customer service... They called me back I asked to speak to a manager and then was transferred to the receptionist... I politely thanked the receptionist and hung up.

What ever you do do not deal with "D.C." He is like 90 years old and is a complete a** hole to the customer despite his fake customer service awards...

Vic the manager is decent but doesn't really follow through as a good manager. When a client seeks out a new sales person you don't go throw them to the old one they obviously ignored and walked past on purpose. Especially when the customer is obviously ignoring and avoiding the sales person at every turn.

They did however agree to a $30k out the door price... They will probably be blowing up my phone tomorrow... I am going to make them pay for treating me with disrespect. That's if I decide to buy from them... Really debating this...

hey32g 11-17-2014 10:08 PM

Been through crap like that before. More than a few times. Ask to speak with the General Manager.

Good luck. Put emotions aside and do what's best for you.

Meanwhile, have you seen this one? 2012 w/ 2,736 miles for $28,977.... It's at a Ford dealer, they may have more interest in your car.

redstarcg 11-17-2014 11:31 PM

Not surprised. Before I emailed them I read reviews and it seems they do this to many people. Thats why I was rude to them right away. They want my money more then I want their car so I didnt give a ****.

So sorry this happened man, hate fuckers like that. Get them to bring it down to 28k.

Btw was that 30k taxes and all?

bullitt5897 11-18-2014 06:08 AM

That was 30k out the door. I only talk out the door numbers.... I live in sugar hill like 15 miles away from them... They are down the road from my in laws...

NismoNY 02-28-2015 08:21 AM

Hey red I see you picked up a 2014. Nice! What kind of deal did you get and mileage? I got a 2014 gun metal that I picked up recently

redstarcg 06-26-2015 10:46 PM

Nismo I paid about 44k. I got it brand new though. Couldnt find a used one for a price that I considered fair.
