Yokohama Neova AD08 R
 

Im currently on the stock Yokohama Advans and am at 17k, and they are nearing the end at 2/32.

I am looking into the Yokohama Neova ad08r.

Was thinking about running larger then oem spec tire widths on nismo wheels
(19x9.5, 19x10.5)

f 275x35 vs 245x40
r 305x30 vs 285x35

any comments or concerns running these sizes vs keeping oem widths?

All Street Use. I want additional grip for the twin turbos on the way.

I recommend:
Re-11's
265/35---305/30.

or
AD08
265/35---305/30

Those tires are amazing in dry, warm weather conditions.
I would recommend waiting till you get your TT's since my AD08's only lasted 5k miles before the steel bands were showing; unless your Z isnt a DD.

i was thinking 275x35 vs 265x35 for the fronts since there closer to oem diameter sizes.

any reason why you say to use the 265's?

My rides is in the shop right now getting a tt installed. I have BS S-04s, 305 rear and 265 front. I would have gone with Re-11s but they were not available. I think for the money Re-11 are your best play and then PSS, S-04, DWS. IMHO if you are only going to get 10 to 15k (or less) on a set of tires and you are not tracking, why spend money on tires that you will never push them to there full potential and all you are doing is burning rubber. All the tires listed cost less than the AD08s and perform better or close to them in every day road applications, but as I say...my money my fun. It's up to you how much you want to spend regardless of how much performance you get out the tire.

I was also wanting to stay as close to oem diameter so wheel gap doesnt get increased as Im keeping the suspension stock.

Id be interested in your impressions on the s04 when your tt conversion is complete.

I'm lowered on Tiens springs and have 15mm spacers all around and there is absolutely no issues with rubbing. The fronts do not extend past the fender and the back are pretty much even with them, so I don't think there should be any problem with weel gap on the width. As far as height, there will be a little more gap on the fronts and about the same on the rears.

So far I have no complaints with them as they are a lot quieter than the stock Yoko's and the performance is comparable. The sidewalls are softer and you can feel it when you make them work, but they are every bit as sticky. Well...I will see how I feel about them after adding another 200whp!!! :driving:

any fitment issues running 275x35 on fronts?
would there be any noticable benefits over the 245's?

ill look into the s04 poles. im still leaning towards 275x35 305x30
or
s04 in the fronts and neova in the rear?

I use 275s (w/ 295 rear) because I like the balance better, but I like an oversteer-biased car. I haven't had any issues. I am thinking about trying to fit 285s in front next time.

Since they're for street use only, do you care if they're noisy tires? I have them on my car and the road noise is terrible, especially for the long drives to/from the track. The tread pattern is aggressive and do look good on the car. I'd like them a lot better if they weren't so noisy.
