Nismo 2013 wheels.

What you think about 2013 nismo wheels vs 2010, 11, 12 wheels??? What your prefer and whay would choose you??

Elan 08-17-2013 04:28 AM

I prefer the 09-12 rims unless you have the '14 because then the rims match the body kit.

/Angelo350Z/ 08-17-2013 04:46 AM

I prefer the darker finish of the new Nismo wheels.

NINJA 08-17-2013 02:22 PM

Gunmetal looks a lot better on most of the colors.

kenchan 08-17-2013 03:13 PM

I like the dark color. Since my car is silver Im going to keep my Nismo set the hyper silver color, but had I not had my WEDS, I'd probably buy the gunmetal nismo's.

I prefer the gun metal color.

Since my car is gun metallic, I had mine painted KAV - the 40th anniversary body color.

NismoZ70 08-17-2013 09:43 PM

Prefer the gun metal. Didn't like the 09-12 wheels at all. My car is gun metal so having gun metal wheels looks awesome.

13nismo370z 08-17-2013 10:37 PM

Definitely the gun metal. I have it on my 13 Nismo. I get lots of compliments.

fuct 08-19-2013 10:04 AM

dark wheels are getting played out. i like the silver wheels! :)

All take either to add to the collection since all I have is the Rays Sports. I like both except the S-Spec Nismo wheel.

Very clean. I was debating going with KAV Nismo Wheels or just having a paint shop put them to a full polish on my 40th...any more pictures to show?

Both look great. RN Shark have the silver nismo wheels on his gunmetal Z and they look amazing! very classy and sporty.

What color are your door handles? Did you get them painted? That looks really nice with whatever you did :)

jcasti07 08-21-2013 10:10 PM

I think that the 13's and up look good considering they come with red calipers in the background, but I like how the brilliant silver compliments my red nismo

I like em on lighter colored cars:

I prefer the silver NISMO wheels. They really pop & expose the beauty of the wheel which were a deciding factor for me to go with a NISMO version. IMO, the darker wheels look more sedated

Very nice! I love the black wheels. Have you ever considered painting the calipers red to go with the black wheels? That would really pop inside there. I've seen a few guys do that and it looks great. I love the red calipers with my gun metal wheels.

The darker wheels whether black or the gun metal look better IMO than the silver. Just not a fan of the silver.

Thanks Dude! I think I might just paint the calipers red one of these days.

Agree with darker wheels looking better. The plain alloys I think are just kind of boring.

The paint color for the car is KAD but those wheels are the ones that come directly off a 2013 Nismo. I could be wrong but I don't think he painted those. It's definitely a nice look for the wheels.

I had the wheels painted KAV (the 40th Anniversary body color). The wheels came off of a 2009 Nismo that was converted to a race car and races in the Continental Tire series.

Thanks for the info brother.. looks great!!!

I think the silver is whats played out. You didnt really start seeing cars have dark rims "aside from aftermarket" until the last few years. But pretty much since the beginning of cars....... rims have always been shiny silver or chrome. silly non conformists, non conforming so hard they dont conform with the other non conformists. who gives a flying dogs a$$ what is "popular" at the moment, just go with what you like!!

BOLIO 671 12-31-2013 04:01 AM

Does anyone know or can anyone confirm if the color code for the 2013 and up Nismo wheels are the same as the 40th Anniversary 370Z (KAV).....they look the same...tryin to confirm though

I believe the color code is actually KAD. At least that is the color code for the gun metal paint color as that is what I had to get when I bought the Dr Color Chip. I don't believe they are the same but are pretty close looking as you mentioned.
